Rules for Nails games are as follows:
*The host reserves the right to change/alter and edit rules at any time. Events will have specific rules for event purposes only*
**Please take note. My games no longer have MED's for AEG's. Bolt action Sniper rifles, SAW's and DMR's still have 100 foot Minimum Engagement Distances. ALL my games are now SINGLE FIRE ONLY unless you are a SAW gunner.**
Game Rules
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Safety
Basic AO Rules
• ABSOLUTELY NO SHOOTING IN GREEN ZONE / NO FIRE ZONE or HQ. This means: while in the parking area, while getting geared up, and while moving to the battlefield there is to be NO FIRE, NO "dry-firing" and NO gun testing. Test it ON THE FIELD WITH EYE PRO ON.
• Mag out and clear chamber while in HQ, and SAME AS ABOVE
• Muzzles towards ground at all times in HQ / Green Zone, and SEE ABOVE.
• Googles ON, Goggles OFF Rule:
o If “Goggles ON” is shouted by the Host, all players must repeat GOGGLES ON and apply eye protection. If a player does not hear it or is not paying attention, other players MUST ensure EVERYONE is aware of the command that was given. Game on! Lets have fun!
o Once “Goggles OFF” is shouted, players must make sure everyone is aware and shooting is halted.
• If you observe a situation at any time that compromises safety on the field, call a HOLD, in a loud, clear voice. If you hear a player call a HOLD, repeat the HOLD in a loud, clear voice. Play stops immediately upon the calling of a hold. You may not move, fire, discuss tactics, re-position, etc., until the safety situation is resolved, and play is resumed.
• You observe that the terrain my be hazardous and will take the necessary precautions to ensure you and others safety while traversing and playing in the AO.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Age Requirements:
• You must be at least 16 years of age to participate (unless signed consent by parent or guardian)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
• Eyewear (EyePro, i.e. Eye Protection) is REQUIRED while in the game field at all times and MUST be ANSI Z87.1+ rated to play. Other suggested (but not required) PPE are: mouthguards, face masks, gloves, etc. Prefer FULL seal goggles/glasses over safety glasses. Ski goggles not permitted (they shatter and cause more damage)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ammunition Restrictions (based on Host and event):
• All weapons on the field will have ammunition restrictions unless otherwise stated in weapons classes.
• Unlimited mid or low capacity magazines. Mids/lows can be reloaded in the field.
• Only 3 hicaps PER player allowed (If you have Mids, a player may have 1 hicap, you can't have unlimited mids AND 3 hicaps, its one or the other). MUST reload at spawn. We are trying for realism, not spray and pray.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Weapons Classes:
• Weapons classes are designed to add realism into our airsoft games. Each class has a specific maximum power rating and minimum engagement distance. These engagement distances are FIRM, since there are no surrenders. If you intend to or think you might be engaged under your minimum distance for your AEG, you must draw a secondary weapon or say BANG.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Knives:
Minimum engagement: 0 feet/none
• Special Rules: You must use your hand to obtain a knife kill and say "knife kill". Simply tap out your opponent anywhere on his body and he is out.
Secondary Weapons*:
Max FPS: 300fps (320 MAX) with .20 weight BBs
Minimum engagement: none - single fire only
• Special Rules: Semi or burst only (1 shot, multiple projectiles). Low caps or mid caps only. High caps are not allowed on secondary weapons.
*Weapons classified as secondary class:
• Shotguns
• Spring, gas blowback (GBB) or automatic electric pistols (AEP) (Semi only)
• Grenade launchers such as M203 (30 foot minimum engagement distance)
• Shoulder fired anti-armor weapons such as LAW or RPG

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Minimum engagement: 30 feet.
• Special Rules: Support class MUST be a true Support Weapon. That includes: M249 SAW, RPK, M60 etc.
• Must have box mag and bi-pod to be considered support class. Can shoot semi only when moving, must deploy bi-pod on any surface to shoot full auto. 1 support weapon per 6 players maximum.
DMR Role: (M14 etc)
Max FPS: 450fps (465 MAX) with .25 weight BBs
Minimum engagement: 100 feet.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Building Engagement Rules:
The same minimum engagement distances apply to buildings. Only SMG class AEGs and pistols are allowed to engage within buildings. Example: if you are using assault class, you can engage enemies inside buildings at 50 feet or greater. If you move in closer than 50 feet or enter a building, you must engage with a secondary weapon or SMG.
----------------------------------------------
Regular Game Play Rules
One hit to any part of you or your equipment is considered a HIT, gun hits do not count. Must present a deadrag, or take out your magazine and hold it above your head. MUST Yell "HIT" load and clear, and walk back to spawn and follow specific game rules. If medic is present, follow basic medic rules. Primary gun hits do not count, but gear hits do count.
----------------------------------------------
Medics: There can only be 1 medic per squad (or 1 medic per 6 players max). Or depending on specific game rules. Medic will only carry 2 bandages for themselves when hit and may not be used on teammates. ALL players are responsible for having 2 bandages on their person in order to be medic'd.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Black Book Rule Set (***ONLY USED IF HOST WANTS TO USE IT, ALL GAMES WILL HAVE STANDARD "ONE HIT" RULES UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED***)
Calling Hits and Calling Out:
To add to realism, anytime you are hit but not killed you are fair game. It is up to your opponent to leave you, kill you, or use you to draw in a medic. If you are shot before/during a medic heal, you must take the shots. Being injured does not make you immune to the opponents fire. on the flipside, as long as you are in game, hit or not, you will be allowed to give intel to your teammates. If you are out, you're not allowed to give intel to your teammates (ie: dead men can't talk). At anytime you can choose to respawn by calling 'OUT!'. (ex: if no medic is around or if you are sure you will just get shot
again anyhow)
If you are hit in the head, neck or torso: You can consider yourself out. Instead of calling 'HIT!' you will call 'OUT!'. Please be LOUD when announcing to avoid being shot again. If you are out, you will raise one or both of your hands in the air (with or without your rifle) and immediately leave the field to respawn or otherwise.
If you are hit in the Arms (one or both): You will call 'HIT!' You can no longer shoot, but you can move at will.
If you are hit in the Legs (one or both): You will call 'HIT!' If you are shot in the leg/legs you must stay
where you were shot, either lay down, take a knee or sit. You cannot move until you call yourself 'OUT!', or
you are healed by a medic. You are allowed to use your weapons.
Multiple Hits: If you are sprayed and are shot in both the legs and the arms but not killed, you will call 'HIT!'. You will not be able to move or shoot, all you can really do is use call for medic. It is up to you whether you would like to stay in
and wait for medic, or call yourself out. If you are hit multiple times (shot in different areas ex: left arm and right leg) the medic must wrap a bandage on each area that is hit in order for you to get back into the game.
Hits that do not count: All hits count. Ricochets, through the bushes, banked shots and floaters all count. If you do not call it you are cheating! Hits to your gun during gameplay will require you move back to your respawn, this will not count as a respawn, but a resupply.
----------------------------------------------
General Rules:
• Setup/spawn will be determined at time of play. Once established it will be considered the “GREEN ZONE / HQ”
o ABSOLUTELY NO SHOOTING IN THE GREEN/NO FIRE ZONE
o EYEWEAR RECOMMENDED TO REMAIN ON WHILE IN GREEN ZONE, BUT NOT ENFORCED
• Chrono / Hop up adjustment MUST take place in secure and safe area (Battlezone AO ONLY).
• “Goggles ON!” Rule will be enforced. Once announced, all players must have eye protection on and the game is LIVE.
• CALL YOUR HITS. IF YOU DECIDE TO NOT CALL YOUR HITS, THE GAME DOES NOT WORK and you will not be invited back to play.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW RULES / GUIDELINES MAY RESULT IN BEING BANNED FROM CURRENT AND FUTURE DAC EVENTS. YOU MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE IF YOU ACT IN A HARMFUL MANNER. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TOO:
• Destroying private property
• Intentionally continuing to fire after player calls “hit”. We can't always immediately hear when someone is hit, but once you think you've got them, CEASE FIRE.
• Firing in a NO FIRE ZONE
• Acting rude, discourteous or disrespectful to other players, staff or land owners.
*The host reserves the right to change/alter and edit rules at any time. Events will have specific rules for event purposes only*
