Hey fellas/ladies. Listed below are some suggestions on what to bring.
REQUIRED TO PLAY:
Safety
Eye Protection (prefer full seal if you can get them)
Boots or ankle protecting footware
Sustainable items
Water - at least 2 gallons per person
Snack food items/lunch
Gear
Primary System
CHARGED Battery
Mag's
BB's
Kit
2x ACE bandages OR 2 strips of cloth. If you forget this, you technically cannot get healed and will have to wait the full 10 minutes (5 bleed out and 5 FOB)
RECOMMENDED:
Spare/back-up System
Secondary System (pistol)
Multiple batteries
First Aid
Watch
Cell phone
Battery charger
Full face protection for players under 18
What to Expect:
I am trying for realism. So please come prepared to play. We will have limited water available to players, so please bring your own. and bring lots. It's always better to have more than not enough.
Charge your batteries and load your mags the night before. Once charged, put the batteries in your system so you don't have to the morning of.
I am going to be VERY strict on safety rules. you MAY NOT under ANY circumstance remove eye pro once in the AO. A little sweat is better than a trip to the ER to have a BB removed from your pupil and loosing your eye for the rest of your life. This includes being in the FOB. If you must wipe your eyes do so quickly and with your eyes shut OR leave the AO.
NO mags in the system while in the green zone. At all. If you need to test fire your weapon do so on the AO with eye pro on.
I will be running around all morning, if I catch players with mags in or eye pro off i will dock your team points. The combat controllers and Commanders will also ensure their teams are adhering to the safety ruleset.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read the OpOrd BEFORE you get to the field. There are medic rules and game objectives in the opord that will make your life easier if you read them.
Again, i'm trying to give everyone a feel for what an op would be like.. will it be like a huge op? hell no, but i want you to get into the mindset. We play pickup games every weekend, now its time to up the accountability and fun factor..
