AcademyAdvocacyConstitutionalElectoralJudiciaryPolicy The demonstrations that followed the results of the elections on October 30th are causing a lot of disruption and damage to society. People were run over on the roads and in the streets. A man was arrested for leaving his children in the car to participate in the demonstration and will be charged with abandonment of an incapacitated person. A boy tried to invade a barracks, a crime covered by article 302 of the Military Penal Code (CPM). Protesters felled a century-old tree to close a road, thus committing an environmental crime. Children, elderly people and women have been or perhaps are still being used as shields in lockdowns.
They are common people, fathers, mothers, "zap aunts", that neighbor of ours, who are compromising their future because of an inglorious fight. This movement has two elementary pillars that, without them, none of this would be happening. The first is the fact that the President of the Republic and his supporters Canada Email Listhave repeatedly stated that the electoral process could be rigged, inciting the population to distrust the legitimacy of the elections, something that deserves rigorous investigation and exemplary punishment; and the second reason that drove this social disorder was an element brought by academia, in the sense that the Armed Forces (AF) could assume power in a case of dispute between the constituted powers.
It is worth noting that the financial impact of the strikes will be another element in the already almost impossible equation to close our country's accounts, considering the hole of almost R$400 billion left by the current government in public coffers. But, without a doubt, the damage is being greater for those who have been carrying out these acts. For the people who are wasting their time, complaining about a fraud that does not exist and waiting for a "military intervention" that will never come, because it cannot come, as the Federal Constitution expressly and unequivocally prohibits any possibility of the Forces Armed forces take power in our country. Except for the coup d'état.
